Primary Advantage Federation Sports Day

On Thursday, twenty children from SJSJ went along to the Lea Valley Athletics Centre to take part in the joint Primary Advantage Federation Sports Day.

During our own sports day at London Fields the two fastest boys and girls from each class were chosen to represent our school for the joint event where they competed against the fastest boys and girls from the seven other schools within the federation.

Throughout the day the children competed in 75m sprints, 300m sprints, vortex, long jump and shot put.

The children performed superbly during the events and were an absolute pleasure to accompany to the event.

It was a very, very close call but at the end of the event, SJSJ were awarded with silver medals as they came in second place overall!
