On this page you will find out about SJSJ’s approach to managing the school during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Phased Reopening – Stage 1
Following recent guidance, we opened the school to pupils in Reception Year 1 and Year 6 from the 1st June 2020 until the end of the summer term; Friday 17th July 2020. Children have been allocated to a bubble within each year group which have been made up of a maximum of 15 children per group.
From Monday 5th July 2020 we were also able to welcome back a small number of our Year 5 pupils.
If you would like your child to attend school please call and let us know in advance; your child will be invited to attend from the next available Monday. Children will not be admitted unless a prior arrangement has been communicated between the school and home.
Following the Government advice, the school remains closed to all pupils in Nursery, Year 2, Year 3 and Year 4 unless your child is considered to be the child of Key Workers. We will continue to monitor the guidance and any amendments to these arrangements will be communicated with parents at the earliest opportunity.
Home learning packs are uploaded to individual year group pages every Friday. Follow the links below to be taken directly to each year group page:
