Year 6 visit to Hackney Museum

On Thursday morning, both Year 6 classes went off on a visit to the Hackney Museum to take part in a series of transition workshops. Each workshop was delivered by a member of staff from several agencies that work within the local community,     including Transport for London, Metropolitan Police, London Fire Brigade and Young Hackney. The purpose of the sessions was to inform the children about some of the changes that they may experience over the next year and going into secondary school. The children all had a great time and took away lots of new information; they were also a massive credit to our school as their behaviour was outstanding!
