Teaching Assistant – Fixed Term: July 2027
St John & St James C of E Primary School is looking to appoint a highly motivated and talented Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work alongside our dedicated staff to support individuals and small groups both in and outside of the classroom. The role requires someone who is passionate about children’s learning and who has a rich knowledge and understanding of how pupils learn. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in working across the primary curriculum.
Start Date: September 2026
Hours: 32.5 (8.30am-3.30pm)
Closing Date: Wednesday 5th June 2026
Interviews: Week commencing Monday 15th June 2026
Scale: 4 point 7-10 £31,980-£33,384 FTE (£25,055-£26,751 pro rata)

Cleaner
St John & St James C of E Primary School is looking to appoint a highly motivated and talented Cleaner to work alongside our dedicated site staff in order to ensure that the school building is maintained to the highest possible standard in order to ensure that we can provide the best possible learning environments for all of our pupils. The role requires someone who is passionate about their role and has proven experience of working as part of a dedicated team in an active cleaning role.
Start Date: September 2026
Hours: 15 hours per week (5.00am to 8.00am)
Term: Term time only plus 3 weeks
Closing Date: Wednesday 5th June 2026
Interviews: Week commencing Monday 15th June 2026
Scale: 2 point 3-4 £30,225-£30,654 FTE (£11,770-£12,209 pro rata)
