Assistant Cook

St John & St James’ C of E Primary School is looking to recruit an Assistant Cook to join our current catering team from January 2025.
The Assistant Cook, will support the school’s Cook and other members of the catering team in the preparation, daily delivery of service and maintenance of the schools kitchen and lunch service areas. You will be expected to work in accordance with the required standards and statutory regulations to ensure the efficient and economic use of all allocated resources. 

Start Date: 6th January 2025

Closing Date: Friday 6th December 2024

Interviews: week commencing Monday 16th December 2024

Salary: Scale 2 Points 3-4 (£29,286-£29,703 full-time equivalent) – £10,590.01-£10,985.29 pro rata

Hours: 11.30am – 2.30pm (15 hours per week – term time only).
