Here you will find information on our Breakfast Club and After School Club arrangements.
Breakfast club runs from 8:00-8:55am daily throughout the school terms and costs £10.00 per week (flat rate).
Parents are asked to complete a sign up form and hand it in to the main office if you would like your child to attend our Breakfast Club provision. The admin team will inform you of availability. If there are spaces, your child will be added to the register and can attend from the Monday following your sign up. If there aren’t any spaces, you can choose to add your child’s name to the waiting list; you will be informed when a space becomes available.
Once a space is allocated, you are automatically re-enrolled and charges applied to your Parent Pay accounts for each term for the remainder of that school year unless you inform us that the space is no longer required.
To sign up for breakfast club, please download and complete the sign up form below and bring it into the main office where a member of our team will support you with the sign up process.
All after school clubs run from 3.30pm to 5.00pm Monday to Friday during term time.
An EYFS after school club is available to all pupils in Nursery, Reception and Year 1 which is held in the Nursery classroom.
A variety of After School Clubs are on offer to children in Year’s 2 to 6 and are held in a variety of areas throughout the school.
After School Clubs are charged at a flat rate which are shown on the sign up form above. EYFS clubs are charged at a slightly higher rate to compensate for the additional staffing requirements for children in this age group.
Clubs are charged at a flat rate for each term (Autumn, Spring or Summer). This is due to the fact that spaces are limited and once you sign up we aren’t able to offer that space to any other child. Please ensure that you complete your form and return it to us as early as possible to avoid disappointment. All clubs are offered on a first come first served basis.
All allocated clubs will be added to your parent pay account and the full amount should be paid at the beginning of each term.

Child’s name
Child’s class
Service required (I.e. breakfast club or after school club)
Days required for After school services
Please note that it is not possible to be allocated specific days for breakfast club; the place must be taken for the entire week at a charge of £10 per week.
In order to plan fully for our return we are asking that all request for these services are emailed to office@johnjames.hackney.sch.uk no later than Friday 26th February.
We will then confirm all spaces along with a timetable of after school clubs by email in the early part of the week beginning 1st March.
Please note that all clubs must be paid in full by Sunday 7th March in order for your child to attend.
