PE & Sport Premium Funding was introduced by the Government to help schools to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of their physical education provision (PE), physical activity and sports offered by the school.

Our school has signed up for The School Games, which is funded by Sport England and delivered by the Youth Sport Trust. You can find more info here.
Year 6 Swimming Ability
Each year, our Year 6 pupils take part in a two week block of swimming lessons at the Olympic Pool in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
These lessons take place in the summer term, after the children have completed their SATs tests.
The information below is based on the outcomes of the 2021-2022 cohorts results:
- From this cohort of pupils, 44% of the children were able to swim at least 25 meters unaided by the end of their block of lessons.
- From this cohort of pupils 12 were able to use a range of strokes effectively.
- From this cohort of pupils 12 were able to perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations.
