Half Term
We hope you all have a lovely relaxed break.
Please be reminded that school will resume on Monday 19th February 2024 at 8.55am.
Parent Survey
Joseph, our new WAMHS clinician will be working with our school in order to continue the school’s commitment to ensure everybody in our community’s mental health is supported.
This survey provides you with the opportunity to honestly tell us of your perceptions of mental health but also how we as a school support the communities mental health. This will then inform our actions going forward with the WAMHS service.
Please complete the survey by Sunday 11th February.
Rights Respecting School
This half-term, the RRS ambassadors have been creating a playground charter to remind everyone how to keep safe on the playground.
These will ensure that all children are kept safe from injury (Article 19) and have are able to relax and play (Article 31).
The ambassadors produced bright, informative posters that are displayed throughout the school, in prominent areas that children will see when accessing the KS1 and KS2 playgrounds.
Reading Tea Party
Two lucky children ins years Nursery to Year 6 have been invited by Miss Thomson and their class teacher to a very special Reading Tea Party!
We have been so impressed with these children’s dedication to their reading.
They have made sure their reading diaries have been completed every single day! So we decided to treat them to some delicious cakes.
Well done all!
Green Team
Next half term, to incorporate our love for plants with Global Recycling Day, we are going to be planting some seeds in our classrooms using recycled plastic bottles.
To do this, we would be very grateful if you could keep any plastic bottles you no longer need (with the lids on) and bring them to the school office please.
This will showcase how we can use recycled products to bring plants to life!
Nursery
Application forms for our school Nursery are available at all times from the school office.
If you have a child who is under 3, and therefore not ready to start just yet, you are encouraged to complete the form at your earliest convenience so they can be added to the waiting list.
