As we come to the end of another fantastic term, I would like to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to you all.
To the children, thank you for your hard work, enthusiasm, and your continued eagerness to be the very best you can be. It has been a joy to watch you progress and achieve so much over the Spring term. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed, and I am incredibly proud of each and every one of you.
To the parents, thank you for your unwavering support. Your involvement and dedication make such a difference to our school community, and we truly appreciate all that you do to help our children succeed.
To the PTA, thank you for ensuring our children have such wonderful experiences whilst they’re at SJSJ and for always going above and beyond to raise funds to support our school initiatives.
And finally, to the amazing staff here, thank you for your constant hard work, dedication, and passion for teaching. Your commitment to our children is inspiring, and I am so grateful for all that you do to make this school such a special place.

This week, SJSJ had the pleasure of hosting a science show from the Royal Institution of Science.
The show looked at how energy is formed using fuel and oxygen. The children where able to see a fantastic range of activities which also involved rocket launches!
It was truly an incredible day for our super scientists.
To wrap up the Spring term in style, our Year 6 pupils took full advantage of the glorious sunshine with a special flag football session at the iconic Hackney Marshes. Playing on a full-sized pitch, their energy, teamwork, and determination were on full display.
From lightning-quick runs to clever interceptions and confident passes, the children showed just how much skill they’ve developed over the half term. It was a joy to watch their passion for the game, and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect.
With the Easter holidays approaching, we are aware that the extended period of time away from school may lead to an increase in your child’s screen time. We wanted to remind you all about ensuring your child remains safe online, and effective monitoring of what your child is engaging with.
