A message from Miss Gladstone
Wow – what a fabulous term it has been!
The children have been incredible and the effort and enthusiasm they have shown each and every day is inspiring. We are all so proud of them and the achievements they have made this term.
I also wanted to thank all of the staff members for their continued hard work and for always providing the children with the very best.
To the parents, thank you for your smiles and positivity at the gate each day and for supporting your children the way you do!
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2024.
We look forward to welcoming you all back on Tuesday 9th January 2024.
Christmas at SJSJ
On Tuesday afternoon, Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 had a very special visit from Santa Claus! He had heard how amazing they have all been this term and confirmed that they were all on the ‘good list’. Each child was treated to a lovely gift and had a great time sharing what Christmas means to them! We also had our KS2 Disco and the children loved every minute they spent singing and dancing with their friends!

Solar Panels
We are delighted to announce that SJSJ will be having solar panels installed very soon.
As part of our sustainability and eco-friendly drive, we have completed a feasibility study with Stokey Energy (funded by the Hackney Council’s Community Energy Fund) and they predict it will save the school roughly £12,000 per year. The majority of the cost for these to be installed has been generously granted to us, however, we are still a little short.
To support this project, we will be hosting a non-uniform day on Friday 19th January (£2 per child) and The Green Team will be sharing lots of information with the school community about the benefits this will provide the school with.
