04 Jul What’s happening in Year 6 – Week 5
This week, Year 6 have thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon swimming lessons at King’s Hall. The pupils have been working hard to refine their Key Stage 2 swimming skills, including confident strokes across a range of distances, safe self-rescue techniques, and developing their stamina in the water. The week ended on a high with a well-deserved fun play session, where the children’s joy and growing confidence were plain to see – a fantastic way to round off a brilliant week of progress in the pool!
Back in school, preparations for our end-of-year Moana performance are in full swing. This week, the children have been getting creative with designing and crafting props, including some wonderfully imaginative monster masks for our big ‘Shiny’ musical number. Just look at them! The enthusiasm and artistic flair on display have been incredible – we can’t wait to show off all their hard work on stage very soon!
