What’s happening in Year 4 – Week 1

This week in Year 4, the children have been exploring the fascinating world of electricity! During their science lesson, they investigated the different components that make up an electrical circuit, such as wires, batteries, bulbs, and switches. Working in small groups, the pupils carefully connected their components to build a simple circuit and were thrilled to see their light bulbs light up when everything was connected correctly. They discussed what made their circuits work — and what happened when there was a break in the circuit. The classroom was full of excitement and curiosity as the children experimented, problem-solved, and deepened their understanding of how electricity flows.
