27 Mar PSHE At SJSJ
This week in Year 4, we explored an important PSHE topic all about friendship. We spent time thinking carefully about who our friends are and what makes those relationships special. Through discussion and activities, we shared ideas about kindness, trust, and respect, and reflected on how friendships can look different for everyone. It was wonderful to see the children speaking so openly and thoughtfully, celebrating the people who make them feel happy and supported.
We also talked about how it is perfectly okay to have different friendship groups, and that friends don’t always have to be friends with each other. The children showed great maturity in understanding that everyone is unique, and that we can build positive relationships in our own way. We encouraged one another to be inclusive, respectful, and confident in our friendships, creating a warm and supportive classroom environment where everyone feels valued.
