Today, we celebrated NSPCC’s Number Day!
Across the school children engaged with lots of different maths activities, and brought numbers to life in their classrooms!
Maths in the real-world is vital to understand; we need maths all the time! For example, we need maths to tell the time; to buy things in a shop; to follow our favourite recipe and even to track our age as the years pass by!
In Key Stage 2, the children all entered the TTRS competition NSPCC Rocks! Each child had 30 minutes of competition time to gain as many point as possible for our school scoreboard by answering a range of multiplication and division questions. Look out for details of our NSPCC Rocks winners and runners up next week!
