Reading At SJSJ

This morning, our Reading Champions introduced our brand new Author of the Month for the Spring term – Michael Rosen. Michael Rosen is exceptionally talented and is one of the UK’s most loved children’s authors and poets, known for his funny, lively, and very relatable work. He has written over 140 books, including favourites like We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, and often performs his poems with lots of energy and expression. Michael Rosen encourages children to enjoy language, play with words, and see reading as something fun and exciting. His work shows that poems and stories can be about everyday life—and still make us laugh and think!
