What’s happening in Nursery: Week 6

This week in Literacy, the children took inspiration from the story Billy’s Bucket and used their wonderful imaginations to explore the question: “What can I see in my bucket?”
Just like Billy, who sees all kinds of amazing sea creatures in his special bucket, the children imagined their own magical underwater worlds. From shimmering jellyfish to stripy fish and swirling seaweed, each child created a unique scene full of vibrant detail.
They used descriptive language to draw and label what they could see and carefully thought about the shapes and patterns in their drawings. It was a joy to see their creativity come to life—and their buckets were full of surprises!
