What’s happening in Reception – Week 2

In RE this half term, Reception will be learning all about the key events that lead up to the Christian celebration of Easter. Tuesday 4th March 2025, marked Shrove Tuesday – a day where people often use up sweet ingredients in their cupboards to make and enjoy pancakes, before Lent begins on the following day.

Reception celebrated Shrove Tuesday, also known as Pancake Day, by learning a simple pancake recipe and making their very own delicious sweet treat!
