12 Sep What’s happening in Reception – Week 2
Reception have had a wonderful start to the school year, and it’s been such a joy getting to know all our new Reception children. They’ve settled in beautifully and are already showing great curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. This week, the children have particularly enjoyed exploring our new construction corner, where they’ve been busy building towers, houses, and castles! It’s been fantastic to see their teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills in action.
Our home corner has also been a big hit! The children have loved role-playing different family scenarios – from cooking up meals to caring for babies – and it’s been lovely to see their imaginations come to life.
I am so proud of how well everyone is settling in, and I am looking forward to a term full of fun, learning, and new friendships!
