What’s happening in Reception – Week 5

This week, the festive magic arrived in Reception and the children have had a fantastic time exploring the different activities!

The week started with Christmas Decoration Day – we used metallic paints, PVA glue and glitter to decorate pinecones that are now hanging in the school hall.

On Monday, our role play shed also transformed into the Nativity stable! We have been learning all about the birth of Jesus in RE lessons, so the children have loved dressing up and retelling the story.

On Thursday and Friday afternoon, we also decorated gingerbread houses for the cake stall at the Christmas Fayre! It’s been a busy week, but we’ve had so much fun!
