What’s happening in Year 1 – Week 5

This week in Writing, Year 1 have been introduced to persuasive writing. We understand what writing to persuade means and have worked hard to spot features of persuasive texts. We even created a class checklist together and remembered lots of the features!

We have also looked at using -er words and -est suffixes to help us exaggerate. Next week, we will be using our skills by writing a leaflet to persuade people to visit the moon!
