What’s happening in Year 4 – Week 4

In our lesson today, we carried out an enquiry into temperature. We began by looking at thermometers and discussing how to use them accurately to measure temperature around the classroom. We then worked in groups to record temperatures in different areas. We noticed that places near the edges of the room, such as windowsills, were cooler than areas closer to the centre, like under tables. Finally, we discussed our results, spotted patterns, and made predictions about how temperature may change throughout the day!
