What’s happening in Year 4 – Week 7

In Year 4, children learn about Diverse Britain by celebrating the many people, cultures and communities that make our country special. They explore how everyone is unique and how our differences make Britain an interesting and welcoming place to live. Through stories, discussions and activities, children learn about kindness, respect and the importance of including everyone.

Children also learn about role models from Britain who have made a positive difference. They discover how role models can inspire us to try our best, believe in ourselves and make good choices. By learning about these inspiring people, children understand that they too can be role models by being caring, confident and respectful every day.
