17 Oct What’s happening in Year 5 – Week 7
This week in year 5, we have been working towards answering our big enquiry question in history: “How Were The Romans So Powerful”.
We looked at a range of secondary sources and debated their reliability. We learned about military formations, weapons and armour and the impressive forts that they built, some of which are still standing in Britain today. We then created an advert asking people to join the roman army, we used all of our new learning to explain the advantages of joining the Roman Army.
