In science this half term, Year 6 are learning all about electricity. The children are able to identify and use scientific symbols to represent many different components of an electrical circuit. As well as this, they have been learning about the differences between complete and incomplete circuits. Before moving on to our class enquiry, this week the children worked in pairs to identify errors in circuits and use their scientific knowledge to correct them – this will be very helpful next week! If you’re looking for any tips about how to save electricity, be sure to stop and ask the children as they have some fantastic ideas.
