18 Jul What’s happening in Year 6 – Week 7
Goodbye and Good Luck, Year 6!
As the school year comes to a close, it’s time to say a heartfelt goodbye to our wonderful Year 6 class. What an incredible journey it has been! You have worked so hard this year, showing determination, creativity and kindness in everything you’ve done – and I couldn’t be prouder.
From SATs preparation to residential adventures, brilliant writing to inspiring artwork, and, of course, our unforgettable leavers’ production, each of you has left your mark. You’ve supported one another, risen to challenges and shown real leadership across the school. Whether it was reading with younger pupils, organising sports activities or simply being excellent role models – you’ve made a difference.
It’s never easy saying goodbye, especially to a class as special as this one. But I know you are more than ready for the next exciting chapter. Secondary school will bring new opportunities, friendships and adventures – and I have no doubt you’ll continue to shine brightly wherever you go.
To parents and carers, thank you for your continued support and encouragement throughout the year. It’s been a privilege to work with your children and watch them grow into such confident and capable young people.
So, to Year 6 – thank you for the laughs, the learning and the memories. Keep being kind, keep being curious, and keep being you. Wishing you every success and happiness in the future. You’ll be missed more than you know.
With love and pride,
Miss Thomson
