28 Mar What’s happening in Reception – Week 5
In RE this half term, Reception have been learning about the Easter story and talking about why Easter is such an important celebration for Christians.
We learned all about the importance of the stone tomb – this is the place where Jesus’ body was kept after he had been taken down from the cross and helps Christians to remember that new life was given to Jesus when he rose on Easter Sunday.
This week, we got creative in RE and had a go at painting our own stone tombs, thinking carefully about the colours that we used and the story that these colours told. Take a look at some of our brilliant artwork!
