Green Week At SJSJ

Last week, SJSJ celebrated our annual Green Week- a week dedicated to learning more about sustainability, our planet and the small steps we can take to protect our local environment. Thanks to our incredible PTA, every class had the opportunity to participate in an environmental workshop, where the children learnt about food growing, composting and the importance of pollinators! A huge thank you to our wonderful PTA for supporting us with this and giving the children the opportunity to have brilliant learning experiences in school.

The children also participated in an environmental art project, where they produced pieces of art, linked to their humanities topic, made out of recycled and preloved materials. The children were incredibly creative and it was a pleasure to see the children beaming as they took their artwork home!
