07 Nov Spanish At SJSJ
In Spanish lessons, Year 6 have been exploring the Spanish-speaking world through a blend of language and geography. They discovered that Spanish is spoken in many countries worldwide, in particular large parts of South America, and have enjoyed finding out about the geographical features of these regions. The children can now confidently name the seven continents in Spanish and have learnt about the largest rivers found in each one. Through independent research, the children have also developed a greater appreciation of global diversity and the importance of language in connecting people around the world. Year 6 have shown fantastic enthusiasm and curiosity in their learning — ¡muy bien!
