01 May PSHE At SJSJ
In PSHE this half term, the children are learning all about relationships with others, including family and friends. This week, they focused on exploring what it means to be a good friend and learnt some techniques that they could use to help them make new friends. The class then went through a list of statements about what makes a good friend and discussed each one, deciding whether it was true or false. They came to the conclusion that a good friend would do something like share and take turns, so that everyone can join in and have fun; whilst a good friend would not copy everything that other people do, as this might make them upset and doesn’t allow people to be their unique-selves.
