This week in RE, Year 6 explored how the early Church protected the Christian message through the Apostles’ Creed. They learnt that a creed is a statement of beliefs and examined the Apostle’s Creed, discussing its meaning and importance for early Christians.
Using their Philly Ways of Knowing, the children engaged in philosophical thinking, asking reflective questions about belief and considering their own views. Through collaborative group work, they explored how the Creed expresses that Jesus is both human and divine and confidently shared their ideas through presentations, demonstrating strong speaking and listening skills.
