This week in Year 5…

Year 5 enjoyed a visit from Apollo music string quartet this week. This was to finish off their cycle of music lessons with Apollo music from last year. The children thought about a scene in their imagination and then the string quartet played it!

Year 5 had a virtual workshop with the WWF (a charity all about the conservation of wildlife) where they learnt about the effects of environmental damage in the African savannahs. They covered scientific topics of food chains and food webs and completed a quiz about all the new facts they had learnt about endangered species.
