What’s happening in Nursery – Week 6

As part of this term’s RE topic of ‘Celebrations’, on Monday, Nursery went on a trip to Tesco to buy ingredients to make and bake ‘salt dough Christmas decorations’. This will allow us to discuss the idea of a recipe and the ingredients and method of making salt dough decorations. On Wednesday, the children worked together in small groups to follow a set of instructions to create the mixture needed to form the dough. They then had a choice of three Christmas themed cutters (Christmas tree, snowflake or snowman) to create their chosen shape before letting them air dry and harden.
