What’s happening in Year 2 – Week 2

This week, Year 2 visited Saint Church to learn more about baptism. In RE, the children have been learning about what baptism is and why people get baptised. Abi, at Saint Church, explained to the children what baptism is, the story of St John the Baptist and Jesus, and showed the children how and where people in Hackney can get baptised. This was a great learning experience for the children and enabled the children to understand more about baptism in their local community.
