05 Jul What’s happening in Year 6 – Week 5
This week, Year 6 have been on their annual residential trip to Kench Hill. The week has been filled with lots of fun and laughter! The children have taken part in some incredible activities including, archery, orienteering and dune jumping! They also visited the beautiful Kent coastline at Camber Sands, and for the first time ever they took a day trip to Port Lympne Safari Park; it was truly fantastic! The children have worked on building their self-esteem, being more independent and shown a strong sense of resilience – all qualities that will help them slide into their next exciting adventures at secondary school. The staff at Kench Hill have not stopped commenting on how wonderfully polite our children are; they have done our school very proud!
