07 Jul What’s happening in Year 6 – Week 5
This week, Year 6 visited Hackney Library to explore to artwork on display for the Primary Advantage Summer Art Exhibition. It was a really lovely opportunity for the children to view some of the work that is being produced by children across our federation of schools. Year 6 also created some work on behalf of SJSJ, so it was nice to see that on display too. If you haven’t done so already, pop into the library after school or over the weekend to see the array of work on show!
On Wednesday afternoon Year 6 visited the Victoria Apollo to watch the west end show Wicked. The show was incredible and the children all loved the experience.
They were an absolute credit to St John & St James and shone like absolute superstars.
They were given a tannoy announcement at Victoria bus station by the bus driver who told the whole of the area that they were amazing! Then the adults were stopped during the interval by a lovely family who complimented the ‘impeccable behaviour of your students’ saying that she was blown away by how well behaved everybody was.
Well done Year 6!
