The Green team enjoyed harvesting the vegetables from our planter last week. They harvested a range of vegetables including: carrots, turnips, beetroots, tomatoes and some huge cucumbers. They then had a cooking demonstration from Chef Patrick where he sliced the freshly-picked cucumber and made pickled cucumbers. This was served at school lunch the following day and tasted delicious! The team will be planting and harvesting more vegetables throughout the year, which will be served in the school canteen- sign up to school dinners to try it!
