Meet our School Reading Ambassadors!

Zi Ting and Iyi in Year 5 absolutely love reading and as a result, have been chosen to be our school Reading Ambassadors. They had their first reading ambassador meeting with the other chosen pupils from across Hackney schools. They were asked what books they would recommend to other pupils and really enjoyed sharing their favourite books with other children. They have come up with an action plan for the next month, which will ensure they raise the profile of reading and share their absolute passion for it! They are going to set up a lunch time reading club, present powerpoints to the classes about the author of the month, carry out a reading survey with each class and make book recommendation posters to share their favourite books with everyone!
