Over the last few weeks in Spanish, Year 6 have been reading a story: Raúl en Sutton House, una casa Tudor. The story is all about Raúl, a time-travelling rat, who visits London. To build their confidence, the children have been working in pairs to identify familiar words/phrases and then using ‘un glosario’ (a glossary) to translate key parts of the text.
This week, they focused on recognising familiar verbs and then conjugating these to show how they are used in the past tense and in singular form.
