21 Jun Summer Reading Challenge
This summer, we strongly encourage all pupils at St John St James to get involved with the very exciting Summer Reading Challenge with the theme of Sustainability this year. You can get involved at any library that you are part of so please ask about it at your local library or find out more about the challenge at this link: https://summerreadingchallenge.org.uk/
All your child needs to do is read 6 books over the summer! When you take out the first book from the library, you can collect a folder, which will have stickers and a comments box for your child to comment on the book they have read. They can then go and collect their next books up until their sixth, at which point they will receive an exciting prize. Your child can read any types of books as part of the challenge and the libraries encourage the children to go and share with the library staff how their challenge is going! They can of course also read more than 6 books over the summer too. If you are not part of Hackney library and would like to be, the link to join is https://llc.ent.sirsidynix.net.uk/client/en_GB/hackney
