What’s been happening in Nursery – week 5

It’s the Chinese year of the Tiger!  (Lunar). In Nursery we have been looking at how ‘Chinese New Year’ is celebrated and watched ‘Dragon Dancing’ before re-enacting our own class unicorn dragon dance. We learnt about lanterns and special family meals. For snack we tried Chinese fine egg noodles including some spicy ones! As well as prawn crackers which were crunchy and delicious. We listened to the traditional ‘Happy New Year’ song ‘Kong Hei Fatt Choy’ and sang along with the words. Nursery
