04 Feb What’s been happening in Year 4 – week 5
This week Year 4 used their scientific knowledge of the human muscular system to develop short fitness routines that focused on strengthening key muscles, such as the abdominal muscles, biceps, triceps, calf muscles and quadrilateral muscles.
The children researched the purpose and function of different types of muscles and explored what it meant for a muscle to contract and relax. They then used this information to help them put together their fitness routine.
