What’s happening in Nursery – Week 1

In RE this half term, we are exploring ‘Special Foods’. This week we looked at Hindu traditions and special foods such as ‘chapatis’. We learned that they originate from India and it is made up of ingredients such as flour, water and salt. We read the story ‘Runaway Chapatti’ and acted the story out with repetitive rhymes and actions. The children loved tasting the chapatis at the end of the lesson!
