What’s happening in Nursery – Week 4

In RE this half term, Nursery are exploring special clothes in different religions. On Monday, we had two special visitors from SAINT church, Keziah and Vera, who came into class to show us special clothes in Christianity. Firstly, the children identified special clothes around them and in their environment, such as their school uniform and special clothes people who help us wear. They had so much fun trying on the costumes! Nursery also had the opportunity to see the different special clothes priests wear at church and why they are important. We also explored the meaning behind the coloured stoles and the importance of a cassock.
