What’s happening in Reception – Week 5

This week in Reception we have been looking closely at the story of the Nativity. This is the culmination of our RE topic this half term where we have been exploring how we prepare for Christmas. We used figures to act out the story and focus on the different characters. We were surprised to know that baby Jesus was born in a barn full of animals, so on Friday we visited Hackney City farm to observe farm animals up close ourselves.
