What’s happening in Reception – Week 6

This week in Reception, our highlight was delving into Yinka Shonibare as an artist. He is a British Nigerian artist, who works with wax fabrics to make incredible costumes and statues. We were inspired by his work to make our own elaborate costumes.

We carefully chose our poses and fabric for each different design. It was lovely seeing how many different ways the children used the resources. Come and see our display just outside Reception’s classroom to see the final products!
