What’s happening in Year 1 – Week 4

This week in Year 1, our highlight has been visiting the computing suite at school. We have been learning about how to stay safe online  when using computers, so we were ready! This week we were learning about controlling a computer mouse and using it to make pictures and save projects. We practiced moving the mouse purposely, only clicking the correct button to choose options and then making purposeful marks or text within an art program. The children enjoyed sharing their projects and improving their coordination.
