What’s happening in Year 3 – Week 1

This half term, Year 3’s science topic is light. For our first lesson we explored inside and outside the classroom looking for sources of light. We also classified objects into those that were and were not sources of light. Some surprised us. For instance, we discovered that the moon is not a source of light, but just reflects the sun’s light! We’re ready to learn more, particularly about how shadows are formed.
