What’s happening in Year 3 – Week 8

On Thursday, the incredible Immediate Theatre carried out a Black History Month drama workshop with our Year 3 class. We started with some drama activities and games, where we were asked to use our bodies to convey messages to the class.  We then learnt about Benjamin Banneker, who was an African American mathematician, astronomer,  inventor, and writer. We learnt about his life, using drama to portray the key events, which led him to be such an influential African American.
