What’s happening in Year 5 – Week 3

This week, Year 5 have been learning to play the ukulele in music. They have been learning how to place their fingers on the frets to play a variety of chords and to strum the strings to play in unison.

In writing lessons, Year 5 have been writing free-verse poems based on our class text ‘Journey to the River Sea’ by Eva Ibbotson. We included poetic devices such as rhythm, repetition and figurative language.
