What’s happening in Year 5 – Week 3

This week, Year 5 were preparing to write a diary entry in role of a character from our key text, “Journey to the River Sea” by Eva Ibbotson. On Tuesday, we worked in groups to come up with a character description using figurative language, such as similes and metaphors. On Wednesday, we then worked on including coordinating and subordinating conjunctions to our descriptions.

These will be used as guidance for our planned writing next week.
