15 Sep What’s happening in Year 6 – Week 2
This week, Year 6 began to explore their new science unit: Electricity. They will be building knowledge across the half term to answer the key question: Why are wires so important in a circuit?
As an opportunity to recap on prior learning on electricity, the children began by taking part in a carousel of activities and ran their own mini scientific experiments. Some children focused on setting up a simple circuit using a range of classroom resources, whilst others explored how static electricity could be used to bend water.
